A Simple Pleasures Christmas

Big, bold Christmas pictures that are easy on the eyes and easy on the hands.

A Simple Pleasures Christmas brings the cozy side of the holidays to every page. Every picture has thick, clear outlines and big open spaces, so it is relaxing to color with colored pencils, markers or gel pens, even with tired eyes or less steady hands.

Inside you will find 50 warm, grown-up holiday scenes, never childish:

• Decking the Halls: a decorated tree, stockings by the fireplace, a wreath on the door, a nutcracker, a candle in the window
• From the Kitchen: a gingerbread house, holiday cookies, hot cocoa, a Christmas pudding, cookies and milk for Santa
• Out in the Snow: a horse-drawn sleigh, ice skates by the pond, a covered bridge, cardinals on a snowy branch, a country church
• Gifts and Wonder: Santa in his armchair, a rocking horse, a toy train, a teddy bear, a sleigh on the rooftop
• Treasured Traditions: carolers, a nativity stable, a Christmas angel, holiday bells, ringing in the New Year

What makes this book different

• Large 8.5 x 11 inch pages with thick, bold outlines
• Every picture is printed on its own page with a blank back, so markers bleed onto a blank page, never onto another picture
• A gentle conversation question under every picture, perfect for holiday visits with family or activity time in care homes
• A color test page at the front

A thoughtful stocking stuffer for parents, grandparents and anyone who loves the holidays.
